About Transport

Transport facility at BLS World School ingrains the best of technologies and logistics for safety, security, and a satisfying experience for the children. Enabled with GPS, Speed Governance, CCTV cameras, manned by trained staff with security guard are used to transport kits and vehicle tracking system can track buses anytime by anyone ensuring safety and security of the children.

It is well managed by Transport In charge and his team of trained personals.

It is an optional service for those needy or commuting from far off distances. Transport charges are not part of the fees and are applicable as per the school norms. Separate Rules with proper guidelines will be informed at the time of admission process.

All the safety papers of the buses are in place and they have been declared safe for operation

  • Every day checking of bus is done by the authorized person.
  • Meter and wiring of the buses are checked daily to ensure there is no overheating.
  • Air pressure of the bus is checked every day.
  • Number of student travelling in bus is equal to number of seats.
  • Students using the school bus are expected to be on the right side of the bus stop at least 5 min before the arrival time of the bus.
  • The bus will not wait for the late comers.
  • All students must occupy seats immediately after boarding their buses.
  • The drivers are authorized to stop buses at the designated stop only. The lists of stops are prepared keeping in view the convenience and safety of all bus commutes and is subject to change.
  • Students must not move around in bus and put any body part outside the moving bus.
  • Objects of any kind must not be discarded inside or thrown outside of the bus.
  • Students will be held responsible for any damage to the buses caused by negligence or vandalism.
  • Unusual behavior like shrieking and shouting is strictly prohibited. Courteous behavior is expected at all times.
  • Under no circumstances will children be allowed to board another bus to fulfill social engagements.
  • Temporary change of address/ bus route will not be allowed. No student will be allowed to change their bus on their own or accompany his/ her friend to their homes after school.
  • Parents of Nursery & Prep students must accompany their wards to and from school on the very first day of school to familiarize the driver with the bus stop.
  • If the escort is not found at the bus stop, the child will be brought back to school and handed over to the parent/guardian in the school.
  • School Transport Guidelines
  • It is the responsibility of the parents to ensure that their children reach the pickup points well on time, to prevent delay.
  • In case of any issues regarding buss services, the Transport In charge may be contacted.
  • Parents have to make sure that they pick up their children at the notified time from the specified bus stop, failing which, the child will be taken back to the School and the parents will have to collect their ward on their own.
  • Only parents are allowed to pick their child from the school. Any other person detailed should be properly authorized by the parent in writing.
  • Changes in bus routes to suit a particular student will not be entertained during the session. The decision of School Transport Department is final.
  • Buses may reach the bus stop 10 minutes prior or 10 minutes later than the scheduled timings. Parents are expected to cooperate.
  • School buses are equipped with all necessary safety features within and strictly follow all security norms as per the guidelines issued by the government to safeguard the children. However in case of any mishap during transit the School takes no responsibility for the same.
  • A child is expected to travel in the bus allotted. Change of bus route at any cost is not permitted.
  • Discipline in the bus is of utmost importance. Strict action will be taken against any students found to be violating the bus rules.
